Good Life Story...

Blaise Winter

First of all how the heck do you get a cool name like Blaise? (he informed me his mother named him after St. Blaise) He spoke at today's meeting and he has quite a story of having a cleft pallet and hearing loss being teased to the point of hiding behind his mother all the time. He was forced to try Basketball and his coach informed him that he's too rough and should try another sport. Football is where he landed and enjoyed himself. Some may say he's over the top but he insists he lives life to its fullest. I agree with him, he's a good guy.
I told him I liked Hockey better than football (hence the head lock)

Started as a joke then he wouldn't let go. I had to beg, reminded me of Al and myself as kids...

I wouldn't believe all that stuff about pro athletes using steroids. But I AM awful glad that he didn't go all roid rage on you.

Ah, Blaise. Nope, don't remember him. Here's his professional stats, though. Reminded me of that time we were in Ohio, with Dave. Nope, not that one. Dang. I've got to get a better memory.
