No matter what poop I have to deal with, spending time with Amelia makes me forget all my troubles.

Thanks Amelia!!

Let me get this straight - the chicken's name is "Nugget"? Ooooh, you're cruel!!

and yes...

A chicken in the house. The trick is to watch her poop in her coop, then you have about fifteen minutes of "safe time" to play a little (Chicken poop is not pleasant). I have to admit I rolled my eyes so far back when Kim got that thing. I thought surgery was needed to get them back. Now that goofy bird has become one of the best pets we have ever had. It just wants to be with us. It's very cool.

So like I'm thinking of a .NET application that tracks the chicken pooping and opens the door of the coop when it's "safe". And then fifteen minutes later fires off a wireless message to the roomba (modified, of course) to herd the cackler back into the coop.

And of course, the last line of the whole procedure is something like this:

15000 GOTO 10

can Chickens read code?

Based on some of the code (and chicken scratchings) I have seen - they can write it better than lots of developers. Especially those APL guys (but then again, that's a write-only language).

Poop really does rule your life huh Doug? I doubt my blog will hold your interest much longer, sadly, but I'll keep trying to come up with more poop related material.
